Carey Monroe, Assistant Vice President and Mortgage
Specialist, joined the UMB Mortgage Department after the merger of UMB and
Peoples Bank of the South, where she worked for 7 years as the Lending Assistant to the President. At UMB Carey
worked as a Mortgage Compliance Officer before becoming a Mortgage Specialist.
With 23 years experience in the mortgage area of the financial industry, Carey is
highly skilled, working diligently to ensure her clients’ success during the in-bank
home buying process.
Born and raised in Franklin county, Carey graduated from the
University of Mississippi School of Banking in 2012. Married to Brian Monroe,
they have a daughter Allyson Jordon and attend the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
